The Treatment
What is a Swedish Relax massage?
Swedish massage is the most widely practised form of therapeutic massage in the world. Developed in 19th-century Scandinavia, it uses long gliding strokes, kneading, rhythmic tapping and circular friction to release surface tension, improve circulation and switch on the body's natural relaxation response.
It is the gold standard for full-body relaxation, the treatment every other style is measured against. Pressure stays light to medium unless you ask for more, and the room is kept warm and quiet so your nervous system can genuinely let go.
At Aurrum it is a signature treatment, not a low-effort default. Eva specialises in Scandinavian relaxation technique with over a decade of practice, and every session runs the full booked time with no upselling.

Swedish Relax massage FAQ
Is Swedish massage painful?
No. Swedish massage uses light to medium pressure designed to be deeply comfortable. Your therapist checks your preference at the start and adjusts at any point.
How is Swedish different from deep tissue?
Swedish works the surface muscle layers for relaxation and circulation. Deep tissue uses slower, firmer pressure to reach deeper layers and release chronic knots.
How often should I book?
Monthly is the most common cadence. Weekly is worth it during periods of high stress or before an important event.
Can I request a specific therapist?
Yes. Just name your preference when you message us on WhatsApp and we will arrange it where possible.
Is there anything I should do before the session?
Avoid a heavy meal in the hour before and arrive about 10 minutes early. That is all you need to do.
